A best friend is supposed to be trustworthy, kind, loyal, and honest. They are meant to support you, not complain about you, someone who is always there when you need them most. A best friend is someone you can trust with your deepest secrets and most vulnerable moments. They are the person you can laugh with until you cry, or simply sit with in comfortable silence, knowing their presence alone makes life a little better.

​You shouldn't have to care about superficial details that ultimately don't matter, whether it's style, social class or abilities and performance . Just because someone doesn't dress lavishly, copy your fashion, or excel in school doesn't mean they can't be your best friend. Being in different financial or social situations doesn't define a buddy.

​Unfortunately, many people prioritize these minor, insignificant aspects. Instead, they should focus on what truly matters to avoid making a mistake when choosing a friend: a person's behavior and how much they show up for you. True friends demonstrate their love and care through action not just empty words. Unlike fake friends who use you as a toy or a temporary pastime, a real friend values you for who you are.

​While it is natural to feel drawn to someone similar to you, what binds us together—independently of background, religion, or ethnicity ,is character and interaction. A best friend stays with you even when others are ashamed, demonstrating the exact opposite .

​A true best friend is someone who texts you even if you are halfway around the world. Even if life separates you through studies or distance, you still check in on each other. No matter how complicated life is, there is always a way to connect—even if it means sending a letter.

​From my perspective, finding a real friend in today's fast-paced world is rare and difficult. That is why we must stay vigilant, ensuring we can always tell the difference between what is real and what is fake.
